It is located in a tranquil and unspoiled area of Costa de la Luz on the western most tip of the Andalucian coastline. The island is at the mouth of river Guadiana, which separates Portugal and Spain. In fact this region is also known as the Spanish Algarve. It shares the charms of both Spain and Portugal with all their advantages.
